Multi-protocol IM client coming to Windows Phone 7

IM+, one of the most widely used mobile IM app, is coming to Windows Phone 7.

While there is already a Messenger client in Marketplace, IM+ is able to connect MSN®, Yahoo!®, Google Talk™, AIM®, Jabber®, ICQ®, Facebook®, MySpace, Skype™, and Twitter at the same time.

With Skype this is particularly significant, as we have so far not heard the company commit to a Windows Phone 7 version of their very widely used software. (note IM + does not support VOIP).

I have been using Palringo (free) on WM 6.5 and it is awesome, so hope they will come with WP7 (free) version too.

This is good. I had to retire my old Treo 680 as a phone (It would reboot in middle of phone calls, but still works as PDA). I replaced it with a WP7. I like it, but I miss my multi IM program.
