Leaked Samsung Windows Phone 7 handset

Another Windows phone 7 handset by Samsung has just been leaked via the usual twitter channels. Developer Andrej Tozon posted this twitpic of the unnamed device. Of note is the conservative styling and also the lack of curves, confirming that it is not the Samsung Cetus leaked for AT&T earlier. The device also appears narrower with a smaller screen.

Of note is the Games tile, which is different from the usual Xbox Live tile usually displayed.

Not exactly the killer Windows Phone I'm waiting for but I can see how this can be perfect for a business person. The lack of an xbox live hub is an indication that its more for business. The phone looks o.k. but nothing amazing.

It's far more likely that Microsoft simply changed the icon of the Games hub. I don't know when people are going to get it through their skulls that OEMs cannot remove features from Windows Phone 7. Every device will have the exact same software. There is no such thing as a business Windows Phone and a consumer Windows Phone. They're the same thing. One phone for your whole life.

it has both games and xbox live hub. this is because xbox live and normal games from apps are not interconnectible.

I, for one, don't like black boxes. This looks like a black box. I'd also want a keyboard. None seems to be found here, and a narrow screen, won't help in landscape mode, where I read most websites.

I want at least a 4 inch screen, and honestly, a 5 inch screen. I use my phone way more for data, than calls.

That is potentially my next phone, decent looks, nothing glaringly weird… nice.

A part of me wishes the leaks didn't happen and we could see them for the first time in their full press-pic glory but they still look quite good in the blurry shots.

P.S. How odd that the first picture has a tile called "Games" instead of using the games hub etc.

P.P.S. Apparently it's quite a large phone according to his tweets, but still a prototype (http://twitter.com/andrejt/status/21059714646), looking at the phone in his hand it does look quite large.

I am not liking how narrow the screen looks, BUT. I do like how plain it is(weird right?). As bad as this sounds(Don't hurt me) I really want a basic looking thin clean phone … kinda like the iPhone4 :O or, OR something like the HD2. Cross my fingers looks more and more likely that it's going to be a first day purchase!!!!!!!!!

what's up with all the extra on the face? I thought they were supposed to make the OS shine not show a whole bunch of extra space…the OS has a lot of extra that they will fill later, but for now where is the balance? all that bazel for what?

Wow… It seems like the trend of loving the looks of simple and dull looking phones are back???! This piece of plastic does not look appealing to me at all. iPhone 4 design knock it hands down anytime (aside of the death grip issues.)
