Nokia Lumia 900 also confirmed for Russian market

In these days when not all high end devices go to all countries, it is reassuring to hear confirmation that one of the best will in fact be arriving on your shores.

It is therefore great news that Nokia Russia has confirmed on Facebook that the Nokia Lumia 900 will in fact be reaching the country. No further information was released, but hopefully it will be in the same time frame as the European launch, which is expected in June or earlier.

Why June though?

It makes no sense, if they are to release it in the US in April.

I think its because AT&T paid Nokia a lot of money to have it exclusively for 40 days or something like that?

They can’t possibly hold exclusivity world-wide when they only have a presence in the US. Then again, this is America we’re talking about.

You’re right the rumour I heard was for US only (and it was 45 days sorry). Maybe its because they designed it for LTE and have to test if further once the LTE chip is removed?

Perhaps this is because usually new phones do not come to Russia as soon as to other European markets?
