Nokia Lumia 900 coming to Europe “beginning of May”

With pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 900 opening at a variety of online stores in Europe, we are all expecting the handset soon.  It has however been a mystery exactly how soon, and whether it will be in the first or second part of May.

Now Swisscom has revealed that we can expect it sooner rather than later.

In response to a question on Twitter about when the handset will be available they responded:

@ thomas mason The # Lumia900 is with us from the beginning of May available.

The Nokia Lumia 900 will not have LTE in Europe, but will compensate with Dual Channel HSDPA where supported, which can bring downloads as fast as 42 Mb/s.

Are any of our readers putting in their pre-orders? Let us know below.

Thanks Thomas for the tip.
