Now that all the major Windows Phone OEMs have shown us their cards for the holiday season, which handset will our readers be choosing?

The HTC Titan benefits from its massive screen 4.7 inch, HTC community support, a pretty good camera and video calling and will also come with accessories such as a dock.  It will also be widely available worldwide. (Full specs here)

The Samsung Focus S has a smaller but likely even better quality 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, and is of course the thinnest and lightest of the lot, and also has the biggest battery.  The biggest disadvantage with the handset is the limited regional support – so far it seems to be an AT&T exclusive.  Additionally Samsung has a reputation of messing up updates, although I assume Microsoft will not let this happen again. (Full specs here)

The Nokia Lumia 800 is the most stylish of the high end Windows Phone 7 group, but besides this has the smallest screen, is the thickest, has the smallest (non-removable) battery, has no gyroscope and no front-facing camera.  It will however benefit from exclusive software, such as free full voice-guided GPS navigation, free streaming music via Nokia Music and as much as 27 exclusive apps. (Full specs here.)

Let us know which high-end Windows phone 7.5 handset you will be choosing over the next 2 months, or whether you will be giving this round a miss, and tell us why in the comments below.

Could someone tell me why this site hardly works on my focus.  Scrolling is slow catching up and comments hardly ever show up anymore ever since i upgraded to wp7.5.  It worked perfect before update.

Moving from HD7 to Radar when Skype for WP7 becomes available.  Will miss the HD7′s size, but want that front-facing camera.  Would consider the Focus S if it was offered by Tmobile.  The Titan’s a nice device, but a little too large for me.

    Lumia  800.

Although as a HTC Mozart user, will likely wait for the 900 – current specs same, so little to gain - 3.7 screen, 8mp camera, no ffc

Just bought the Titan (had an Omnia 7 and an Optimus 7 before) and i am pretty happy with it.

    Nokia Lumia
800 definitely! Already pre-ordered and getting a free Xbox :) (mine is dying).
Lumia 800 has/will have the best unique apps and will have throughout due to
the Microsoft and Nokia partnership. The camera is amazing, yes there have been
negative by CNET about the camera but I feel settings can be adjusted to solve
their problems; Carl Zeiss has a reputation to uphold! The 800 has the best
screen PPI than all the above making games, videos, images more clear,
detailed, colourful and crisp! The design is amazing providing injected
polycarbonate that basically will prevent the phone from looking ugly from any
unfortunate drops, scratches etc, and the gorilla glass is a nice addition. The
2.5D screen is intriguing that is mean to make the tiles look like they are
floating basically. The sound quality for this phone should also be amazing
especially with top quality headphones as Nokia has worked with Dolby Digital
on more than one occasion… (having an Omnia 7 that i love I have to say the
sound quality is pants in headphone compared to my Zune HD for example, I even
had to overclock the sound to get it louder lol). Oh one of my favourite things
is the EA games deal; I love gaming on my phone and exclusivity of games like
Dead Space (that will be free for the Lumia 800) makes me happy :)

    I have to
say I was disappointed in there being no FFC but then I thought to myself…
would i really use it. I wouldn’t use my mobile network to make calls for sure
as i would rather save it for video or music streaming etc. If I’m near a Wi-Fi
hotspot I will always have my laptop at hand and would much prefer that to
call. TBH I have not seen anyone publically make a video call to someone or at
all in fact. I do not know what it is like in other countries but in England
video calling has not taken of even since the first day it came out with phones
like Motorola V series back in 2005. I just really don’t think I will miss the
FFC. As for the gyro I was disappointed, yet I thought most developer will
design their aps to work on all phones meaning all the first gen phones which
only have accelerometers so the gyro will rarely be optimised as a gyro and
will be used to carry out typical accelerometer tasks. I can’t see proper
optimisation for a gyro until most users are using 2nd and 3rd gen Windows
Phones. Lastly I was disappointed about lack of NFC but it doesn’t look like
any 2nd gen phone will get it so I will get a 3rd gen in the future.

I really wish the Nokia was a bit bigger. It’s gorgeous but the PenTile display is a deal breaker. I can’t look at them without freaking out. I love SAMOLED+ but I hate how plasticy their phones are. Titan it is I think. Unless a leak of a new Nokia QWERTY phone leaks.

Why on EARTH is the Nokia device winning?  It’s got the most lame specs of all three devices.  It’s a loser.

What sort of comment is that. The WP OS isnt demanding enough to take advantage of a gyroscope atm anyways. and a FFC is user preference… which a majority of people dont even use when they have one. you sound more like a Android man with that comment. WP isnt about mega specs (though all phones are closely the same with different extras from OEMs) is about user experience and funtionality of the OS and the integration of apps etc

i go for lumia 800. dont want a screen protector anymore, dont want to put my phone in a case or something like that. the lumia 800 solved that problem with gorilla glass and polycarbonate case. so i go for quality not quantity. just want a good phone that i can use and put in my pocket without fuss.
