Don't fight Switch

Microsoft Retail Stores started their buyback promotion in partnership with Clover Wireless that will allow users to trade in a number of competitor’s devices including: iPads, iPhones, Samsung, and Blackberry devices. Consumers can receive a gift card worth up to $350 by doing so.

Forbes today reported that, Microsoft is planning to offer iPhone trade-in program specifically to focus on Windows Phone promotion. The program will offer consumers a minimum of $200 for an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 in select Microsoft retail stores in the US and Canada starting Friday as part of its “#timetoswitch” campaign.  The main difference between the existing program and this one is that it is not limited to Microsoft retail stores. It is a online campaign and its open to “anyone that’s ready to trade up to an amazing new Microsoft device.”
