RoadSMS- Keeps Things In View Even While Texting

In America, Britain, and other major courtiers… Texting is slowly becoming very dangerous, but now there is a new view on that. This view was made available to Android users then now possible to any Windows Mobile but more specifically HD2 owner. The application allows you to see what your camera sees (transparent keyboard helps), so you have a clean text pad and can see that puddle before stepping in it.

Now I can most certainly say I would never use this on my device, and that is mainly because the HD2 has killed all my texting ambitions (from 9K+/month to 700+/month). I cannot speak for the heavy texters that are still out there and might find this useful and fun and might want to over look the whole battery killer thing.

Developer left us empty with info but that does not mean you cant try it out and talk about it over at the XDA forum

lol, cool gimic, but stupid to anyone who actually thinks they can text while driving… Its still illegal.

Err in the UK, texting (or holding phone) while driving is basically illegal and can be deemed as dangerous driving possibly resulting in a ban. Use this app and see your driving licence wave goodbye.

Even looking at your phone while stopped at a red light is $250 fine in my city in the US but I still think this app is pretty smart. It won't get me texting while driving again but it might prevent me from walking into a pole when strolling across campus.

lol, the most I have ever managed was about 1300, and that was last month on my HD2… and I though I had gone crazy, I mean thats ~50 a day!

Don't get me wrong.

A friend of mine showed me RoadSMS, telling me that Android was the best OS because you have plenty of this kind of applications. I've done this app just to show that this is not OS limitation but devlopers !

No focus on battery draining, and off cours don't use it while driving (hey, be logic, there is a lot of think that are not illegal, but I didn't do it because it's logic !!!)
