Samsung ATIV S also delayed in Canada

It seems the first Windows Phone 8 handset to be announced will also be the last one to ship, with Samsung confirming the handset will be delayed to mid-December in Canada.

In a statement to MobileSyrup Samsung Canada wrote:

“We are committed to launch the ATIV S nationally, on Rogers, Bell and TELUS, as well as Sasktel. We are planning to ship to carriers in early December, and should have supply at stores by mid month.”

The handset was originally expected in November in Canada on multiple carriers. When it does arrive it is expected to cost between $129 and $149 on a 3 year contract or $600 with no commitment.

Thanks Peter for the tip.
