The HTC HD2 is likely to be the pinnacle of Windows Mobile handsets, and to celebrate its release on T-Mobile USA we will be giving away one of these amazing devices to a lucky reader.

As regular readers know we are trying to give away the T-Mobile US version of the device while trying to increase our twitter follower numbers at the same time.

To win you need simply follow us on twitter – as soon as we hit 5,000 followers we will pick a winner for a T-Mobile HTC HD2, which has a no-commitment price of $450.

Unfortunately only US residents will be able to qualify for this give away, but if you are lucky enough to be in the USA, follow us on http://twitter.com/wmpoweruser.

Remember to re-tweet the contest – the sooner we get to 5,000, the sooner your HTC HD2 will be on its way

Edit: As we are very close to the launch of Windows Phone 7, the winner will have the choice of waiting for the first device to be released, and we will purchase it for the the no-commitment price if they so prefer.

People get out of T-Mobile service it the worst service and you will not get many signals at all and will get many many drop calls. I heard many are going to Sprint due to it fast 3G connection and soon launching there 4G connection soon! also who cares about the phone. Wait when WM Phone 7 comes out this phone will be obsolete.

Come on guys, your comments are not helpful. At least the person(s) involved with this website is trying to give away a phone and increase traffic to the website. There is nothing wrong with that. If you don't want to follow the site on Twitter, than just simple don't. But your comments are not very nice nor are they productive.

I can appreciate a website (business) that is trying to establish itself and one day turn a profit….Good luck to you, these days it is very hard to run a small business (let along be profitable). I own my own business and I think what this site is doing with regards to the contest is very nice and I hope they reach their goal.

But I would also consider reducing the number of followers you want before giving away the phone….if you don't reach 10,000 follower and then never give away the phone, the people that did follow you will feel cheated (even though they have no right to feel that way, the rules were very clear and up front to begin with). It would go a long way toward customer satisfaction of your loyal followers to bite the bullet and give away the phone anyway (not to mention good free publicity). I recommend placing a date, at which time you will give away the phone regardless of the number of followers. Anyway, that is just a suggestion, but I feel it would be fair and keep everyone happy and not feeling like they were somehow dupped into following you on Twitter. Again, I dont think they should feel that way, but people will be people and they will feel that way regardless if the phone is not given away.

Gah – US only. No Love for UK. How unfortunate. Looks likely i'll have to run my Desire along side MDA Touch V, which is going to pale in comparison (but still a good phone).

WMPU is one of the best source for Windows Phone news apart from xda developer, pocketnow, etc. Even they are not doing this giveaway, people with real passion to Windows Phone will follow you guys in twitter. One suggestion though, even wanna set up a WMPU facebook page?

Not entirely sure where to post this, So I will post it here, why are you using the Mobify.Me thing it ruins the experiance of trying to browse this page on my phone, Might be fine if you have an iPhone, but the HD2 and pretty much all windows phones that I can think of auto-rescale the text so that you can view it in one pane… but it doesnt do it for mobile sites…

So for a windows phone site, you have now made it a pain in the arse to view on windows phones! grr
