Unboxing the Focus Flash for AT&T

While attending Microsoft’s Windows Phone App Workshop today at my college, I was lucky enough to win a Samsung Focus Flash for AT&T. Watch the embedded video above to see me unbox the Focus Flash!

The Samsung Focus S is a new Windows Phone with a 4.3” S-AMOLED Plus screen, HSPA+ data speeds, and a 1.4 GHz single-core processor. The phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera, a front-facing camera, gyro sensor, 16 GB of storage, and is only 8.5 mm thick. It is currently for sale through AT&T in the USA. The Focus S currently does not have an Omnia sibling. Full specs…

Focus S and Flash officially for sale! No 32 GB version.

As expected, the Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash have just went up for sale in the United States through AT&T.

AT&T’s website has the Focus S listed for $199.99 with a two-year contract, and the Focus Flash for only $49.99 with the contract. Without a contract, the Focus Flash is $399.99, making it decently affordable.

This official specs listing finally shows us that the Focus S only has 16 GB of storage.

Samsung Focus S and Flash official product pages live, reveals that Flash is identical to Omnia W

The Official Samsung website was updated recently to include the Focus S and Focus Flash, two new upcoming Windows Phones.

Nothing extremely new is revealed from their website other than the complete dimmensions info and weight info for the two phones. However, the dimmensions for the Focus Flash match exactly with the Omnia W, which tells us that Samsung will finally be releasing the same device in both United States and Europe, rather than what they did with the original Focus and Omnia, where there were two different designs.

The Samsung website also has a new image gallery featuring the front, sides, and back of the phone. Visit Samsung’s Focus S or Focus Flash page to view the new images.
