LG Pacific now also exposed on Video

Android.com.pl also seems to have had their hands on the LG Pacific, heading to AT&T. The video above shows boot up and a brief tour.

The website says the screen is 3.2 inches (which is likely wrong, given that its below Microsoft’s chassis size), and note the handset is about as heavy as the Motorola Droid.

They also comment on the unusual location of the shift and function keys outside of the keyboard.

LG aiming to “lead the market for Window Phone 7-based smartphones”

LG Optimus 7	LG Pacific

Pictures of LG’s Windows Phone 7 line up has leaked over the last 2 weeks, and Trading Markets have managed to get the company to comment on the handsets.

The two main handsets are the 3.8 inched screened LG Optimus 7, heading for Europe, and the 3.5 inch screened LG Pacific with a QWERTY keyboard, heading to AT&T.

LG confirmed they expect the launch the LG Optimus 7 in October in Europe and the LG Pacific in November in USA.

An LG spokesman told Trading Markets:

"It is difficult to release specifics of the new phones now as we are in discussions with mobile communication firms and Microsoft over the launch, but LG Electronics is developing them with a goal to lead the market for Window Phone 7-based smartphones,".

LG has previously expressed a high level of confidence in the predicted performance of handsets running the new OS, saying Windows Phone 7 will soon outperform Apple’s iPhone and the Google phone to emerge as a new class of smartphone.

LG C900 to be called LG Pacific	LG E900 to be called LG Optimus 7

Its nice to see code names transition into real names, and if the leaks can be believed, this is happening with LG’s two latest leaked devices.

According the the BGR the LG C900, coming to AT&T will be branded the LG Pacific. Much higher on the manly stakes however is the keyboard-less LG E900, which according to MobileCowboys (via allaboutphones.nl) will be called the LG Optimus 7.

MobileCowboys in fact had a hands-on with the device in July, and noted the device was smooth and fast,as we expect, due to Microsoft’s minimum specs, all Windows Phone 7 devices to be.
