T-Mobile US Nokia Lumia 710 accessories sheet leaks out

The T-Mobile US Nokia Lumia 710 is now pretty much an open secret, with the Verge stumbling upon a sheet detailing the accessories (none very specific) which will be available for the handset.
It is somewhat disappointing to not see Nokia’s premium Monster headphones or tiny Bluetooth earpieces as part of the deal, but I suspect Nokia did as well as it could just to get the Lumia 710 on the carrier, and the rest of the inventory will have to wait for more welcome times.
We look forward to the official announcement of the handset on T-Mobile, which will likely also kick of a campaign of promotion for the device, which would mark Nokia’s real return to US.

T-Mobile US Nokia Lumia 710 confirmed by manual at FCC

We still don’t know exactly what Nokia and T-Mobile US is announcing on the 14th, but it seems the Nokia Lumia 710 is very likely, with TMoNews uncovering this picture from the Lumia 710 manual at FCC.
Does this handset excite anyone on the US carrier, who have been denied a number of high-end devices now, such as the HTC Titan, Samsung Focus S and possibly the Nokia Lumia 800 also now.

HTC HD7 getting update tomorrow, brings WIFI tethering

TmoNews reports the HTC HD7 and HTC Radar 4G are both getting an update tomorrow which will bring fixes to visual voice mail (the only US carrier which actually support it) and also bring performance improvements. The update is likely the 7740 update which is slowly tricking out all around the world.
Of more interest is that the update will also bring WIFI tethering to the HTC HD7 and allow connection to hidden WIFI access points. There has been a rumour recently that AT&T is planning not to bring these new features to the Samsung Focus and other first generation devices.
The full (somewhat obscured) list of improvements read as follows:
HD7 features and improvements:
- Resolves errors with visual voicemail
- Adds Wi-Fi sharing to the device
- Allows connecting to hidden Wi-Fi networks
- Radar 4G features and improvements:
Radar 4G features and improvements:

Hear a crowd go wild for Windows Phone
Ellen has just given away a pile of Microsoft products, including a Windows Phone 7 handset, the HTC Radar 4G, and it may be the first time I heard a crowd so ecstatic about that OS.
Hopefully we will see many more promotions for Windows Phone 7 over the holiday season to keep phones running the OS in the minds of consumers.
Thanks Zee for the tip.

TMoNews ‘confirms’ the Nokia Lumia 710 as coming to T-Mobile USA code-named ‘Sword’
There have been numerous rumours of the Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia’s low-end Windows Phone 7.5 handset, coming to T-Mobile USA, the strongest likely being the handset, which as far as we know is not penta-band, passing through the FCC with AWS HSDPA.
After making their own enquiries from nebulous sources, TMoNews was able to confirm that the Nokia Lumia 710, code-named the Sword, would be coming to T-Mobile in January in both black and white colours.
There are further rumours of the same handset coming to Verizon with CDMA and LTE, which does make one wonder if Nokia would be attacking the US market in the value segment rather than trying to compete with more premium handsets like the iPhone.
The Nokia Lumia 710 (Sabre) is an upcoming Windows Phone with a 3.7” ClearBlack TFT screen, HSPA+ data speeds, and a 1.4 GHz single-core processor. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera, no front-facing camera, and 8 GB of storage. It will be released in many countries before 2011, however won’t be available in the United States until Q1 2012. Nokia Lumia 710 passes through FCC with T-Mobile AWS bands

While we saw denials that the appearance of the Nokia Lumia 710 on Nokia US’s website meant the device was heading west, the appearance of the handset on the FCC with T-Mobile 1700 AWS bands is less easy to explain away.
The device is identified by the "QMNRM-809" FCC ID, the same code used by Nokia at Nokia’s Declaration of Conforimity in Europe for the Lumia 710.
So while T-Mobile USA may be mourning the loss of the iPhone, it seems they will soon have a consolation prize from Finland however.

The HTC Radar 4G shows up on T-Mobile USA’s website as coming soon

The HTC Radar 4G has shown up on T-Mobile USA’s website as coming soon. The handset is currently expected to hit stores on the 2nd November, and T-Mobile is touting its HSDPA+ abilities, which the carrier and AT&T are both labelling as 4G speeds.

T-Mobile USA says “Don’t call us, we’ll notify you” about Mango update

T-Mobile has posted a short note on their HTC HD7 page asking owners not to call T-mobile customer support for their HTC HD7 Mango update. One can only assume this is in response to a flood of users demanding their update.
The note confirms that the update is on its way, and notifications will show up at random on the handsets of users over the next few weeks. If it matches the roll-out plans of other carriers it could take up to 4 weeks to reach all owners.
We are all still awaiting confirmation of the first handset to receive the update but when we do I am sure we will all breathe a sign of relief that it has in fact actually started.
