Nokia back in the Swedish phone charts after 8 months with the Nokia Lumia 800

imageThe Nokia Lumia 800 only launched on the 23rd January in Sweden, but still managed to clock up enough sales to get into the top 10 phone sales charts in the Scandinavian country.

The chart is compiled from sales at 85 Telia stores around Sweden.

The last time Nokia was in the Swedish charts was 8 months ago, in May 2011. Hopefully with more phones out there we will have snow ball effect and the Lumia 800 will improve its position even more in February.

Sweden’s Telia featuring Nokia Lumia 800 prominently on their TeliaNow magazine

teliamag

The Nokia Lumia 800 has just been released in Sweden, and Telia, the country’s biggest carrier, is giving it pride of place.

The carrier has a two-monthly in-store magazine promoting their handsets, which Wingadget.se notes usually features the iPhone 4S.

In this edition however the Nokia Lumia 800 has featured position, and the Nokia Lumia 800 and 710 also have hero positions inside the publication. The magazine also includes HTC and Samsung’s Windows Phone handsets.

The magazine is available in store, but can also be seen online here.

The magazine will remain current till the 22nd March, which should give pretty good exposure to the handset.
