Tango Video Chat App Now Live In Windows Phone Marketplace

At last, a video chat app for Windows Phone is now live in the marketplace. If you own any of the second generation Windows Phone like Samsung Focus S, HTC Radar, etc,. you may give this app an try until Skype gets released.

App Description:

Tango allows you to make free phone calls and free video calls over 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi. Make calls to any other person who has Tango installed on their smartphone, tablet or PC. Start a Tango call with just voice, and easily move into a video call when you have something to share. It’s easy to use, it’s fun, and it works.

Actually, It works with Older phones as stated in the article. People with HD7s have been able to use the standard camera. Sadly the focus seems to be out of luck

That’s because everyone has HIGH HOPES on Nokia! Remember how everyone is talking about Nokia will turn WP7 to a higher ground? But it is not. Bottom line is, Nokia has let us down badly.

C’mon. What he said is very true. He is not trolling. Nokia is making a very bad move for not having a FFC on their WP7 flag ships. Don’t listen to other fans saying what Nokia is not making phones for current smart phones users and targeting those who have not own a smart phone before. Is crap! If those group of consumers are really looking for a smartphone, they will not get Lumia in the first place because of its lousy hardware.

I know it has nothing to do with a video chat program. But it does concern to consumers who are still using older generation of WP7 and Nokia Lumia. How to use this app on the “2nd gen” of WP7 when there is no FCC?? What a joke!

i find it so funny poeple are counting out MS when the other platforms didnt have the apps that their braggin about now 1-2 years after their phones came out. MS has improved more to their OS than any of the other OS’s and their not done yet. so for those who really think MS and Nokia are a failure are speaking to soon and soon with have to take their foot out of their ass when its all said and done.

the fail is that WP was released 1 year ago with an OS that works like a year 2008 OS…. they failed releasing a non competitive OS…. I bought it thinking that I would have MSN skype front camera voip… and when I got home I was SO disappointed that the device didn’t have any of those things, not even a simple voip socks app, not even ‘microsoft messenger WTF’….. also the ‘multitask’ they used to talk and talk on ads wasn’t in the phone….. bad scrolling…. and the list continues

how can microsoft release such a fail OS? …. I have seen people returning the phones and saying never buying it again…. sad but true
I was just seconds to break (I hit it hard many times to reak it) my focus when I decided to hack my phone and install mango beta…. there were two options,
breaking it (and buying a different phone)or hacking it (with the risk of bricking it)

I picked the hacking option…. but 90% of people never remotely knew about the hacking option

ps: I have just read that tango ‘video’ doesn’t work on focus….. so that’s why it doesn’t work on mine….. another ‘suucks’ to the list.

I’ll let the whiny bitches moan about Nokia between themselves, instead I actually just used Tango to see my daughter; she loved using it on her mum’s iPhone and it worked great on my Titan. I’m very pleased.
