Home brew Atari emulator now in the works for Windows Phone 7

Following the Gameboy and NES emulator, another emulator for classic games have popped up for Windows Phone 7.

The Atari Lyn x emulator by Alex Thissen still needs to be optimized,running at 25 fps in the Windows Phone 7 emulator but only 2 on a real device, but the source code is already available at Codeplex here.

Interestingly Alex is a regional director at Microsoft Netherlands – maybe he will convince Microsoft to allow emulators in Marketplace? One can but dream…
