TF3D 2.5 FavPeople Restore

TF3D 2.5 is by far the best version of Manila to date, with all its shiny new features comes a new way to save your information. Favorite peoples tab has over gone some changes that gives it a more TF2D look, but it is still good and shows you more information and allows you to have more contact.

The new peoples tab takes some time to setup when you start out. That is now going to change, because if you are a person like me, you flash about 2-3 times a week and that means starting over again.

Not anymore. If you have activesync/device center or even Myphone service, then you can sync your file and that means your favorite contacts will sync too. Then when you are done with the flashing your device, just restore you file and that will restore most of your things in TF3D 2.5.

I understand ROM cooks and reviewers who flash 2 to 3 times a week. But I don't get "regular" users who do the same, it seems like so much trouble and extra work, I don't even know when I could find the time or what parts of my life I would have to displace make the time… How and why do you guys do it?

Well it takes about 5min to Dl the ROM, 1Min to flash, 5min to restore, so I can do it while taking a shower. I do it because, maybe there is something new also because I like to have my things upto date, so I update alot. I do reviews sometimes… I stopped till I get a new camcorder. It is not that much work as you would think, since all my data is always backed up with my computer or myphone service.

Well if you flash something like once a month or more, you definitively need too look at some UserCustomisation.
With tools like Sashimi, you will spend about 1 hour once, and afterwards, every single settings, cabs, certificate, xml, etc you want will be automated and two clicks away.

I now flash once every week or two to try out Htc sense(Manila 2.5) or another cooks ROM once in a while. With sashimi, I install about 10 cabs, 4-5 Wifi account, 1 exchange acount, 1 gmail account. I have settings for Brightness, text size, Manilla Tabs order, Favorites, Program quick lauch, you name it. It takes 10 minutes and it`s 2 clicks! you can do something else.

Also WM, with Manialla 2.5 Favorites this is synched directly with Exchange as well:
