The Windows Phone 7 beta release is pretty close to final, even going to far as to include a set of ring tones and alerts, which Long Zheng from Istartedsomething demoes here.

Less simulation videos, more real-life-hands-on videos. Unfortunately WP7, you're not in a position for us to believe videos like this really represent the new OS. Here I refer to the N97 debacle:

Dude it's a screencap of the Emulator, you can download and try it.
There are a LOT of videos on youtube showing WP7 UI on a real device.

Microsoft officially presented their prototypes on several events.
They are WAY more open than Apple…

Ya right…. Same old stuffs over and over again….. I want to see the latest near finalized model. Not some SDK and old prototype phones at the events! Even the SMS screen is sooooooo iPhone looking, with all the callouts boxes….. Duh…… So much for WP7.

Microsoft is not responsible for the finalized product. They are a software company and don't produce the hardware themselves.
Go and ask the phone manufacturers out there (Dell, HTC, LG, Samsung and a lot of others)
They will offer those products – not Microsoft, so Microsoft isn't responsible for showing it.

How come I find that the UI looks kinda of kiddo and buttons are so small? How can the user know what the buttons stand for without much labels???

If you pull the icon bar up a bit, they have text labels.

Oh. But what about those small tiny circle buttons found on different places like SMS, calendars, contacts, etc etc? Frankly speaking, there are lots of spaces at the bottom where the buttons are. But does it have to make such a way that the buttons are only tiny circles? No offense, but I just find them weird.

Perhaps is because I have been on the old WM, where buttons have text labels usually.
