Tip: Easily stream .MP4 videos via SkyDrive to your Windows Phone

Now that we all have our 25 GB allocation of SkyDrive and a nice SkyDrive app for our phones, the question arises of how best to use it.

Streaming bulky videos instead of having it fill up your local storage is a good start.

By simply changing a SkyDrive folder from Documents to Photos using the settings under Information in the web client, your MP4 videos will become playable in the SkyDrive Windows Phone 7 app.

Files up to 2 GB can be uploaded using the SkyDrive folder, so have fun ;)
