Verizon HTC Trophy shows up on Best Buy, not available to Buy however

Just like the white iPhone, the HTC 7 Trophy for Verizon will also one day be released. We still do not know when this way will be, but maybe it wont be long, with the HTC Trophy for Verizon showing up on Best Buy according to Pocketnow.

The device, priced at $599, can not be found at present, meaning like most magical creatures they only appear when you are not looking, but hopefully Verizon will see to releasing the device before the next batch of Windows Phones show up.

Ok, this makes the May 5th date seem even more real.

Verizon announced 3 Android phones yesterday for release tomorrow. They seem to be on this whole 2 day window with announcements and (Thursday) releases.

What SHOCKS ME, though, is that price. Really??? I was hoping to get this 'older' phone off contract, but not at a price like THAT!

Wow, what a horrible price for such old hardware and a mediocre phone. Why couldn't HTC build a CDMA version of the HD7S?

Yeah I think they will release it in the 2nd week of May, exactly six month after the AT&T launch. I bet it was in the contract between AT&T and MS.

Will Verizon push it with TV ads like AT&T did? I doubt it. If they do, it will be a huge boost to WP7.

I gather it to be somewhat of a myth that AT&T have been making their own ads for wp7. I've seen nothing to suggest that. AT&T have been mentioned on all the windows phone ads because they're the premier carrier, but the ads so far are at least mostly made by microsoft from what i can tell.

If you listen to the radio you will hear AT&T-specific Windows Phone 7 ads.

I've wondered that before too, but it didn't make sense to me the more I thought about it …

Well yeah, I know that. But I didn't want this phone on contract. I was going to wait for one of the newer devices for that and sell this one on ebay then.
