Verizon leaks HTC One for Windows Phone render

Verizon has a habit of leaking their new handsets from their own handset.

The latest “victim” is the HTC One for Windows Phone, leaked from their own servers, the Windows Phone version of HTC’s high end Android offering.

The handset is very strongly expected to be announced by HTC on the 19th August and the company has already sent out invitations to many Windows Phone reporters.

The HTC One features a brushed-metal body with a 5-inch, 1080p Gorilla Glass LCD screen and antennas integrated into the case, front-facing Boomsound speakers, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a MicroSD slot.

The screen shot shows the handset will have virtual buttons that can be hidden, will come with HTC’s TV Guide service (and presumably also the infra-red remote control feature) and will have HTC’s camera software.

The handset unfortunately is a Verizon exclusive – hopefully we will see an equivalent offering from other OEMs.
