Video: Microsoft talking about Windows Phone 7 at GamesCon

Youngfuture.biz published this video recorded at GamesCon with a Microsoft rep demoing the Xbox Live Games hub in Windows Phone 7.

The rep is very clear that Microsoft went out of its way to source the best and most popular games on other platforms to bring to Windows Phone 7, but also intended to support the platform itself with its own game studio.

First observations:

1. I pay attention to Xbox news, but I haven't read about the inegration between Crackdown 2 on PC (facebook), xbox and mobile… at least in great detail. That sound very cool. The gaming sites I frequent haven't really emphasized that at all.

2. The other news I got that isn't emphasized is that there are other un announced games coming before launch. We know there will be tons on release and they will update it weekly (a la Xbox Live Arcade), but the lady in the first video explicitly states that they have other announcements in the near future. That might be good enough to speculate on possible AAA titles.
