Windows Mobile 6.5 build 23022 video demo

We have shown some pictures of Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 23022 earlier, but nothing is as good as video for showing the changes in action.

This video by Pocketnow shows some of the changes, such as the movement of the OK key to the softkey bar and the finger-friendly changes to the notification bar indicators.

Looks like it's really more of a proof of concept build :p Still good though, and looks like Windows mobile is finally taking some steps to lessen the use of the stylus. I hardly ever use my stylus now, and with this build I might end up throwing it away too.

Fantastic build. I cannot wait tell 6.5 becomes official. This will blow 6.1 out of the water. 6.1 is dead and gone. Im glad that this will be available to upgrade on the touch pro 2 and such. Just amazing how far this has come. It will be perfect.

I just don't like how the lowest new buttons look like.
But I can live with it.
My main concern is – will the popup menus fonts be resizable.
I just hate so much scrolling through it, and the fact that it covers now the whole screen,
seems more like a dumbphone.
I'm happ of what I have now, when menus contain as much info as possible.

Right now the "Microsoft needs to dump WM" crowd is eating their words.

That looks better (functionally) than the iPhone any day. All that's needed is a little more power on the hardware side and a little more creativity with the graphics artists and the iPhone will look as dated as PalmOS.

I like that the "action" buttons are now at the bottom of the screen closer to the thumb for easier pressing. I like the "revamped" notification area with the scrolling…I wonder if the notification area can be retooled to show running programs for faster access.

Agreed to the show running programs in the notification area. Why hasn't that been included anyways? Isn't that where the programs that are running on a pc located? In the 'Start' menu, or 'Notification' area?
