For the last 7 years. all of my phones have been windows mobile. I am well aware of what people “think” are issues.

SIP? and changing them? lets get into that. I’ve never had a problem with the standard sip from day one. it was always and on screen keyboard. what is there to have problem with? infact, it wasn’t untill the iphone people started to demand more. and plenty of 3rd party devs have made programs with sips that live up to the hype. changing between sips? how much better do you want it? lets see you try to change sips with the iphone? android? nuff said.

any lack in performance is usually due to the OEM of the phone. Microsoft releases the OS as vanilla as vanilla can get. its up to the OEM to make it work. HTC makes it work….other how ever…can’t seem to do it right all the time. On top of that, you see OEMs selling piss poor hardware just to get an attractive price point…and then they try to pawn it off as “power windows mobile device?” really????

the core menu drop down and OS wide shell is ugly. but its just that…a shell. and as HTC as proven time and time again….it can be dressed up as pretty as you want it without losing performance.

media player? album art? gps? these are all things 3rd party devs have done time and time again. Dont like windows media player? fine, try one of the other 30 apps out there. isn’t that what you wanted? options? diversity? power?

or….you want itunes? you want no gps? you want one sip? you want one browser?

let me offer you some food for thought. i’ve tried all 3 leaked 6.5 builds. The IE in these builds re superb! i mean they’re so good i now download my roms from xda right off the rapidshare site….ON THE PHONE!!!!! opera can’t do that. opera mini can’t. safari damn sure can’t. Isn’t this what you want?

then i unRAR the file and flash the phone right then and there. with out even going home to use the pc! isn’t that what you want? mobility? power?

LG has 3 diffrent UI’s for their winmo phone. HTC has touch flo. SE has another. SPB makes one…point UI 2 is around. Countless others make their own. They’re all very real, they all work very well. Isn’t this what you wanted? winmo = 10 plus UI…..iphone= same for 2 years? android = ? riiiight.

make no mistake my friend, there is no weakness in windows mobile. there is a weakness in the user base. You call the lack of app store a weakness….and i call the ability of users to hit a website for the app they want “maturity.”

there is….no…weakness…in windows mobile!

I have the Beta 4 WM 6.5 and it’s work very nice. In the Weather you can see current, Hourly, maps and etc’. i need to see if it possibliy to show it on the today screen.
