Windows Phone 7 VP Joe Belfiore In An Interview

Seems everyone is getting some good time with Microsoft’s Windows Phone corporate VP, Joe Belfiore, and now Engadget has posted their interview with him. The interview which touched on many things we are looking forward to in Windows Phone, and things we are not getting. Joe seems to give some good info about the upcoming OS, nothing new but just something to know if you do not read us everyday.

The interview left me a little deflated because I want Windows Phone 7 to do well. Honestly, though, I don't get how some highly-desired features — such as multi-tasking and cut-and-paste — will not be available at launch. Users have been clamoring for this on other platforms. It would seem that Microsoft bring up the rear (behind Android and Apple) would have the benefit of seeing and hearing what users want and building those featrures into the OS at launch. It's one thing for the Droid X to release with Android 2.1 and 2.2 is just around the corner. It's another thing entirely to release a device that is missing key elements that would make it a compelling option.

Because of battery life? C'mon…… I'm not a Xbox gamer but with a PS3 / PC instead. I really do not see how well WP7 is for me especially copy & paste is gone and it is behaving like 1st gen of the iPhone. Well, iPhone4, here I come.

it seems Microsoft is forcing it to sell just as bad by leaving off things that are currently default services like APPS NOR Copy and Paste.. I hated Joe Belfiore's interview on Engadget.. Everything was about "WE'LL GIVE IT A TRY AND SEE HOW IT GOES".. thats ridiculous! Hey don't just try and see how it goes..
