Windows Phone Tango leak shows Global Device Search?

It seems Microsoft is determined to fill all the hidden functionality holes in Windows Phone, if this leak from a Slovakian forum can be believed.

Claimed to be a screen shot from Windows Phone Tango Build 8200, the post by Snake claims the feature allows a user to search the content of the phone first before going off to search the internet. It seems to be able to draw information from the Zune database, Messaging, Facebook and Twitter. The poster says LinkedIn was not supported.

Also of note he mentions voice control similar to the IPhone, although it is not clear what this means.

You know this need to “customize” your phone isnt the end all be all of people phone experience. People sound like if you cant have total control of your phone that its some how a bad thing. I use a HTC Hero right now and I have ROM’d and customized myself out. Im tired of feeling like I have to change stuff to get it to work.

no. its not. iphone has less customization than wp7 and look how successful it is. most android phones i see are not customized. it a feature that only neckbeard fandroids want

Amen! Before my HD7 I had a TouchPro2 and I would spend hours on XDA downloading ROM’s and themes and skins. It really get’s boring. Not to say that some of the cooks on XDA aren’t brilliant but I’ve settled into my phone and when I want to play with it I go to the Marketplace. Or change the tile colors.

Yeah, I got really tired of flashing my Touch HD.
But I did like customizing with wallpapers and custom icons and stuff.
WP7 and Metro is different though, I really hope MS gives us many more Tile-colors to choose from.
