While we knew of deals by Nokia in USA for wireless chargers in one coffee shop chain (The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf) it seems Nokia had plans to expand the service more widely.
Nokia Russia has announced in a press release that the coffee shop chain Red Espresso will be offering Wireless Charging plates in some of their stores in Moscow.
The good news of course is that as wireless charging becomes more ubiquitous, and since Nokia used a widely used standard, not just Nokia owners but many others will get to benefit from the stations, and of course Nokia will get a little bit of promotion every time some-one sits down there.
Lets hope the company will also work at bringing the feature more widely to the rest of Europe. Maybe Starbucks?
